These are those academics some people are always bitching about, but it turns out they do great work for poetry and poets.
The world's greatest rock and roll band . . . still!
One of the last great music palaces in California, they get all the great ones, whether it's blues, folk, rock and roll. I've caught Richie Havens, John Lee Hooker, Utah Phillips, Mary McCaslin, Jessie Colin Young and tons of other great musicians there. I've even read poetry there!
